Lamor Middle East was invited by the Environment Authority to participate in Oman’s national Tier 2 oil spill response exercise. The joint exercise highlighted collaboration between government, military and industry to strengthen maritime environmental protection.

At the end of September, the Oman Maritime Security Center (MSC) conducted the Maritime Security Exercise (1/25) in the Al Batinah Marine Region.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Royal Navy of Oman, the Royal Oman Police Coast Guard Command, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, the Environment Authority, and Petroleum Development Oman, represented by Mina Al Fahal, alongside several other military and security agencies.

Lamor Middle East was invited by the Oman Environment Authority to join the exercise as part of the Tier 2 national response framework. During the drill, the Lamor team deployed offshore oil spill response equipment to simulate containment and recovery operations at sea.

The exercise provided an opportunity to demonstrate coordinated action between multiple stakeholders in the event of a maritime pollution incident. Lamor Middle East’s participation highlighted our commitment to supporting Oman’s preparedness and response capabilities for protecting marine environments.
