Lamor at the World Circular Economy Forum 2026 (WCEF) in Gujarat, India
Lamor participated in The World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) in Gujarat, India, held on September 15–18, 2026. The event is the premier global forum for circular economy solutions, bringing together international leaders to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable future.
As part of this event, Team Finland hosted "Finland Day" which is a special WCEF 2026 Accelerator Session focused on practical circular economy implementations and strategic partnerships between Finland and India. The high-level event featured Sari Multala, Finland’s Minister of Climate and the Environment, highlighting Finnish leadership and innovation in circular transformation.
During the Circular Maritime Systems & Port Ecosystems track at The Leela Gandhinagar, Lamor’s Sanjay Sharma, Country Manager, India, presented "Global standards for maritime circularity: how Finland is adopting circular best practice in the maritime sector." He shared practical examples of how Finnish expertise is helping reshape sustainable port operations.
The session sparked great discussions on how Finland and India can collaborate, setting the groundwork for concrete initiatives and projects that Lamor looks forward to contributing to in the near future.
