Lamor joins Repsol for Beach Cleaning Volunteering Day in Peru
In September, Lamor Peru proudly participated in the Beach Cleaning Volunteering Day organized by Repsol, in partnership with the NGO Perú Te Quiero Limpio and Seche Group.
Repsol’s Beach Cleaning Volunteering Day took place at the La Pampilla Refinery beach, bringing together key partners to support coastal and marine ecosystem conservation.
Following Repsol’s invitation, Lamor’s HSSEQ department coordinated with teams across the company to ensure strong representation. Members from Operations, Projects, HSSEQ and Commercial areas joined the event, actively contributing to waste collection and the protection of the local environment.
This hands-on activity provided an opportunity for all participants to connect with the local environment, reflect on sustainability practices and highlight the importance of raising awareness about environmental protection. Together with other contractors, Lamor helped remove solid waste along the shoreline, contributing to the collective goal of collecting two tons of residues.
