Lamor inaugurates Service Center in Saudi Arabia

Lamor Saudi Service Center Grand Opening 10 WEB

On 15 September 2025, Lamor inaugurated the Saudi Service Center in Dammam together with our partners. This was much more than a ribbon-cutting, it marked the launch of a hub for local cooperation, training and innovation.

Sharing knowledge is how strong partnerships grow. Our important local stakeholders came together for discussions on oil spill preparedness, plastic recycling, waste management, bioremediation, and how these solutions can support the needs of Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

A special thanks goes to all the speakers who made the seminar such a meaningful exchange of knowledge:

  • H.E. Anu-Eerika Viljanen, Ambassador of Finland to Saudi Arabia
  • Khaled Tubaileh, JV Director, Kak-Lamor
  • Capt. Aref Alawadhi, Acting Director, MEMAC
  • Aziz Al-Othman, SVP MEAF, Lamor
  • Johan Grön, CEO, Lamor
  • Richard Hill, COO, Lamor
  • Joshua A. Kelly, Global manager, Materials Recycling

The new Service Center builds on more than 30 years of Lamor’s work in Saudi Arabia - from supporting the Gulf War oil spill response in 1991 to recent projects with NCEC and NEOM. With Dammam as our base, we can:

  • Deliver locally produced Saudi Made solutions closer to our customers
  • Provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer
  • Build long-term capacity with local partners

We are proud of what our teams have achieved to make this day a reality and look forward to the role the Lamor Saudi Service Center will play in the years ahead.
