Junior Compliance Officer, Finland
We are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer to support Lamor’s efforts in navigating the global regulatory context. Your role at Lamor will involve helping to further develop and implement the company’s compliance policies and training as part of the Global Support function, located at our headquarters in Porvoo, Finland.
Lamor is one of the world’s leading providers of environmental solutions. For four decades, we have worked to clean up and prevent environmental incidents on land and at sea. Our innovative technologies, services and tailored solutions, ranging from oil spill response, waste management and water treatment to soil remediation and plastic recycling, benefit customers and environments all over the world.
The main goal of this temporary position is to support Lamor’s compliance actions and targets set for 2025, particularly in areas such as ethical business conduct, anti-corruption, and Know Your Business Partner-related policies and processes.
The specific duties and responsibilities, as well as the salary, will be tailored to align with the skills, experience, and competencies of the selected candidate.
Your main responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance records and logs
- Assisting in the review, organization, and tracking of compliance-related documentation
- Helping to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of compliance communications and training materials
- Communicating and coordinating with internal departments and Group entities worldwide to gather information, follow up on compliance-related matters, and support global initiatives
The best combination of experience and skills for the position:
- Bachelor’s studies, degree, or coursework in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Law, Administration, Corporate Governance, Corporate Sustainability, or similar)
- Equivalent work experience
As a person, the ideal candidate would have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good collaboration and communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with strong document drafting abilities
- Ability and flexibility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Employment type: Temporary (3 months), full-time. Alternatively, a part-time arrangement may be considered based on the selected candidate's preferences.
Location: Our headquarters is based in Porvoo, Finland however, we provide the flexibility of hybrid work.
