Lamor has established its 17th global office in Navi Mumbai, India. Lamor India Private Limited (LIPL) will provide Lamor solutions throughout India.
India has 18th longest total coastal length among all world countries. The Indian coast-line stretches over 7516.6 km of land and thus, makes India one of the biggest peninsulas of the world with over 200 major/minor ports. The vast Indian Coast is protected by the Indian Coast Guard which is the 4th largest Coast Guard in the world.
Lamor has successfully offered environmental services and products to the Indian Ports and the Indian Coast Guard. With an aim to offer even better Customer experience and interactions and to prove its commitment to customers in India, Lamor has opened a fully functional new office at Mumbai, India. Apart from the office, LIPL also has a large warehouse and full-size workshop for after services required for all projects. Lamor plans to make various OSR items in their new facility in Mumbai.

An important part of Lamor's presence in India is the close partnership with Yeoman Marine Services (P) Ltd., a leading ship and submarine repair company founded in 1999. Yeoman Marine Services is a complete project management and turnkey execution company in the marine, offshore and defence sectors.
Yeoman Marine’s efforts in the marine sector were appreciated by HE Dr. Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India during his visit to Norway in Oct 2014 with a business delegation, where Dhananjay Mishra, Proprietor of Yeoman Marine Services, represented the maritime sector.
Yeoman Marine has partnered with Lamor in this new Lamor India Private Limited company, and will be supporting all local oil spill response, waste management and water treatment sales and services.
With the partnership, Lamor India Pvt Ltd will have the access to Yeoman Marine’s state-of-the-art technical facilities and quality assurance divisions on India’s West coast at Sewri (Mumbai), Nerul (Navi Mumbai), Karwar and Goa, as well as Visakhapatnam on the East coast in addition to using company’s marketing liaison office at New Delhi.

Lamor together with Yeoman Marine Services plan to bring modern technology to the Indian marine and offshore sectors. They will also manufacture their parts in India in response to the MAKE IN INDIA call for collaboration with foreign OEMs.
