Catamaran Skimmers (LCAT)

The Lamor Catamaran Skimmers are high capacity advancing skimmers, which are effective in rivers and fast flowing waters. The systems are installed between the hulls and are designed for quick, easy and safe deployment. The LCAT-C system is modular for easy installation, which allows the skimmers to be adapted to any channel width and installed on new or existing vessels.

The skimmer module incorporates the proven chain brush conveyor for efficient recovery of all types of oils and emulsions, especially very viscous oils and debris, with very little water content. The number of brush chains can be varied from 4 to 12, depending on the width of the recovery channel.

The skimmer module is hydraulically powered and offloaded by a Lamor suction pump, Archimedes screw pump, or centrifugal pump. The skimmer module is raised and lowered by hydraulic cylinders for maximum ease and safety.
