PRESS RELEASE: Lamor Group is reorganising its business; Rasmus Guldbrand is appointed Managing Director of Lamor Group

Finnish oil spill recovery company Lamor Group, is reorganising its activities and centralising the resources of the entire group under a single management team.

Rasmus Guldbrand, former Managing Director of Lamor Corporation Ab, has been appointed the new Managing Director of Lamor Group. Jari Ahoranta, who has worked as Lamor Corporation Sales Director, will take over as the new Managing Director of Lamor Corporation Аb.

New Group Managing Director Rasmus Guldbrand will also manage Clean Globe International (CGI), and the previous CGI Managing Director Lasse Parvinen will become a consultant for other development projects important for Lamor business.

Fred Larsen will continue as the Chairman for Lamor Corporation Ab's board and Bent Larsen as the Chairman for Clean Globe International's board. Bent Larsen will also become Chairman of Lamor Group's Board.

- The scope of Lamor Group's activities is expanding rapidly and the Clean Globe International' concept of oil spill prevention and response is being well received worldwide.
- CGI are planning towards over two hundred environmental centres to be established worldwide during the upcoming years. This vision is fast being materialised. The basis for the growth is the foundation of LSES (Lamor Swire Environmental Solutions). LSES is a joint venture between Lamor and Swire Pacific Offshore, Bent Larsen, Chairman of the Lamor Group, says.

Lamor's partner, Swire, is one of the largest service vessels operators in the world, working in the offshore industry. LSES large planned regional warehouses, with equipment and vessels for oil spill recovery (Tier 3) will allow quick set-up of 10-20 smaller centre's (Tier 2) to operate from the Tier 3 centre. According to Mr Bent Larsen, LSES's goal is to establish 10 regional Tier 3 oil spill response stockpiles. LSES's first large Tier 3 centre will be established in Dubai.

- Through networking and by combining the regional Tier 3 centres and the local Tier 2 centres, we will achieve an integral system of oil spill prevention and recovery in the region. Following this, we will focus on developing waste treatment and land remediation services in connection with the Tier 2 centres, Bent Larsen explained.

- We have entered a new stage of development within the Lamor Group. The establishment of Clean Globe International required large development investments. For a technology supplier to become an international service provider is not so easy. It has been a big step, which has drawn us closer to our client base, said Bent Larsen, Chairman of the Lamor Group.

- Lamor's strong customer focus, combined with the concept of the Clean Globe Centres, provides the necessary impulse for development in the transition period, stated Rasmus Guldbrand, Managing Director of the Lamor Group.
