Raimo Monto

Raimo Monto works as Technical Sales Manager at Lamor's Head Office in Finland. Since joining Lamor in August 2002, Raimo has prepared hundreds of quotes to customers in all parts of the world. As he previously worked for Lori Products, which focused on oil spill recovery vessel systems, he now concentrates on special projects and advancing skimming systems. After happily joining the Lamor team with the Lamor acquisition of Lori, he has been involved especially in quoting technical applications for oil recovery vessels. Customer focused, tailor-made solution quotations belong to his passions.

Raimo also manages the sales support function and is known among all co-workers as a hardworking "databank", providing the group and our customers with the most complicated technical info. Raimo is also heading the so called OSH project. OSH, Oil Sea Harvester - a three year EC funded research project. The intention is to have a 136m OSRV fast ship equipped with Lamor Technology that is addressed on oil confrontation solutions at open sea.

His latest main activities have been concentrated on the new Lamor Data Management (LDM) System collecting technical data of the whole range of Lamor equipment to an operational quote system and technical data base. "Nothing could be more exiting than integrating the existing and new top-notch technologies of all the Lamor Group companies range in to a total functional package", Raimo summarizes.
